As I reflect on my life's journey, I am struck by how quickly time has passed. After dedicating many years to the corporate world, I reached a pivotal moment in 2022 when I felt a deep longing to pursue my dreams and delve into my personal interests.
Childhood & Youth
Growing up in central Beijing, China, I was known for my spirited yet responsible nature, even from a young age. After completing my university studies in China, I ventured into the corporate world, focusing on marketing, advertisement, sales, and public relations. It was during this time that I began building my own real estate business.
Middle Age Chapter
The year 2004 marked my major transition and relocating to Canada, where I embraced a new chapter in my life. Upon landing, I immediately felt a sense of belonging to this amazing country. I bore witness to the legendary oil boom in Alberta for a decade, all the while pursuing further education and career path in Supply Chain Management. Simultaneously, I continued to cultivate my real estate enterprise, which not only served as a professional pursuit but also mirrored my personal passions.
My love for travel has led me to explore 56 countries, immersing myself into diverse cultures, forging connections with people, and discovering the world's wonders.
I am inherently drawn to human interactions, deriving immense pleasure from sharing delightful experiences and valuable insights with others. I derive great joy from creating inviting homes and elegant simple spaces adorning them with my personal touch. Gardening holds a special place in my heart, and my ultimate dream is to reside in a quaint abode enveloped by a profusion of blossoms. The world still holds countless enchanting locales waiting to be explored...
Early Retirement
In 2022, I reached a crucial point where I said goodbye to the traditional 9-5 routine. While my previous employment provided a stable income and invaluable professional training, I recognized the transience of life and felt compelled to align my pursuits with my personal passions. It was in July that I resolved not to renew my contract and embarked on a transformational trip with my partner to the “Badlands” in Drumheller, Alberta, where I captured my inaugural YouTube video, immortalizing our enchanting journey. Since then, I have been captivated by the art of filming and producing, driven by an innate desire to preserve and share these cherished moments. The sense of
liberation, contentment, and fulfillment I experienced was unparalleled, rendering a return to my previous routine inconceivable.
While I genuinely love my work, I believe that nothing compares to the fulfillment of being a parent. It's about finding balance, not just aiming for daily perfection, but consistently demonstrating dedication, passion, and connection every time you take on the role.
At present, I devote myself to content creation on a full-time basis, reveling in a life that resonates with my aspirations. My focus revolves around nurturing equilibrium in my own life and extending support to others in their pursuit of the same tranquility and liberation I have discovered. Through my videos, blog, and various resources, my mission is to empower individuals to simplify their lives and cultivate a more nurturing home environment.
